Tag: Future Clothes from "Pink Monkey"

Thanks for the tag Emily of Pink Monkey!

My future clothing will be maternity and LOTS of baby clothes! I cannot wait to start a family. Have to wait till after the wedding and honeymoon:) I like looking at baby shoes! They are too cute!
A mini Alannah Hill!
And Hello Kitty Croc shoes!
Babies in heels?? I don't think so!
And here are some celebrity mums that inspire me- I hope I can still look that good after babies! It's so not realistic but I can still wish! :P

Bonsai Restaurant & My New Lippie

Just went for a tasting of a new japanese restaurant opening in town- Bonsai! It was 60% off the bill but the catch is- you need to complete a 2 page survey:) That was fine with me. I love to do surveys on food. What bugs me is when people just rate you off as poor and don't give any reasons or any recommendations to make improvements. Being in the restaurant industry I know how hard it is to run a restaurant successfully and it isn't easy. No matter how good the food is or how good the chef is- you need a team to work together to make a good restaurant Fabulous! I really do believe that good food goes hand in hand with good service too.

Anyways here is some food porn as some people call it!

Top points for presentation and service! They are very attentive:) My fave dish is the Beef Asparagus.....didn't get a pic...ate it too fast!

And finally, I finish off with a new lipstick colour I bought. Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick- Rose Seduisant. A very nice raspberry pink!

Products Used:
Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation- Medium Ivory
MUFE HD Powder
MAC Studio Fix Concealer NC25
MAC E/Shadows Yoghurt, Swiss Chocolate & Sketch
Bobbi Brown Gel Liner -Black Ink
MUFE Smoky Lash Mascara
SKINFOOD Cheek Colour Pan 20
MAC MSF Soft & Gentle
The lipstick lasted quite long considering that I am a messy eater and I had tempura! It faded to a nice pink stain at the end of the night.

Makeup Amnesia

Doing some spring cleaning and found some makeup items that I have totally forgotten about and also some that are very similar. I tend to buy things and forget about it and then buy another thinking I don't have this colour and oops I actually do!
As you can see, I like my khaki greens! Very similar to each other: MAC Sumptous Olive and a similar colour from Shu Uemura.
My blues and pinks! I don't know why I need so many variety but I have....

I think MAC's MSF Soft & Gentle and Benefit 10 is very similar.

Lipgloss collection plus more scattered in my various bags and such. All pinks, peaches and reds. I didn't realise it was this bad! ahaha

Red lippies.....I love collecting lipsticks!

My beiges and frosty colours....too many!
I also have many pink lipsticks- but can't be bothered unearthing all of them- its everywhere!
I also have more than 20 different foundations...and I only have one skin colour! But I love trying things out so it's a problem. I need help!
A friend informed me that there is a place I can give my unwanted cosmetics to...and make it into gift packs! Neat idea:)
Now it's time to make a donation and give it to someone who will love it and use it more than I do!

Lazy Sundays

I like enjoying weekends where I can just bludge and do nothing! We need that kind of relaxation once in while:) I'm going to enjoy it while I can! Just before I head out for dinner just want to share a look I did- very simple and understated. I am going to be chowing korean food soon so no need to look too pretty! Trust me I don't eat very pretty anyway! :P

Sorry the pics look orange! I am trying to work out how to take pictures up close to your eyes without the flash- my fiance told me off for doing it so close with flash on! oopps!

I am using a bit of gold liner, black liner and teal liner all in one! Eyeshadows are MAC All that Glitters, Jest & Woodwinked. Mascara I am using is Maybelline Stilletto.

Ahhhh! This picture is much better! No more Ooopa Lumpa Orange Tan gone wrong!

Face products: Missha Perfect cover BB Cream (too light for me!) and MAC Beauty Powder in Fun & Games.
I am using Revlon's Ginger Rose lipstick- A very neutral everyday lipcolour:)

And lastly, here is a pic of my very badly done nails! I cannot do nice nails no matter how much I try! It's Dream Run by Kit Cosmetics.

Weekend Red Lips & Hairstyle

M.A.C Lady Danger

After my depotting frenzy, I managed to get a lot of empty MAC eyeshadow pots (Hurrah!) so I can go and swap 6 of them for a free lippie from MAC! I got myself a coral red lipstick M.A.C's Lady Danger and it's so vibrant! I tried it on straight away on the train back home and realised I still had my blue Shu Uemura gel liner on. My fiance said I looked like the Joker! haha!

So only wear red lipstick with very simple eye makeup- or you'll look like a clown:) Unless that's the look you want!
Here is Christina Aguilera with her signature red lipstick and blonde hair look. Classic but not boring!

How can I not mention Gwen? Queen of red lips!

I was looking at MAC's Rubywoo but I thought Lady Danger was more suited to my skin tone. Rubywoo is a gorgeous red lipstick too in a matte formula.

And the hairdo I tried out today is a copycat from a magazine. It's a hairdo straight from the runway by Carolina Herrera.

Here is a summarised steps on how to do the "Roll" from the mag:
Part your hair on the side and take the front section of the hair and twist it backwards into a thin roll, pinning your hair as you go. Repeat this on the other side of your head and then you tie your hair into a low pony or a bun. Doesn't have to be perfect!

Sorry you can't see my hair properly since my hair is so dark! But I did mine in a ponytail.

LOTD & How I Spend my Friday Night

My look for today! Shu Uemura Gel Liner in Turquoise! (again!) I needed to add something a bit brighter today since it's such gloomy weather right now :( I used with MAC Star Violet E/Shadow and a bit of B.Brown E/Shadow in Mahogany.
Kit Lipgloss in Dreamcatcher & Benefit Dandelion

I have some free time this friday night so I decided to depot some MAC eyeshadows! Here is my my finished product! I dug my nails into my fave eyeshadow "Satellite Dreams" and I just sat there in shock for a full minute! I was very upset :( Such a big hole too! Depotting is a very tedious thing to do! And messy! Oh well, at least now I have compacted my eyeshadow collections into one palette- almost! I still have some more to depot. I need another palette!

After that I decided to do a mask since I haven't done one in a while! I used SKII Skin brightening mask. It's veryyyy good:) Makes my skin feel baby bottom smooth!
Here is a scary pic!
BOO!

I totally forgot about my friend's dessert night tonight! I can't believe I could forget something so tasty! A whole night just gossiping and eating yummy desserts! How fun is that!? I am going to go now before it's all gone :P Have a great weekend!

The "Suri" Hair & Professor Layton!

LOL! I love funny cat pics! This is so funny- it's a copycat of lil Suri Cruise's hair!

Awwww such a cutie pie!

Even her mum couldn't resist! I love her look here....not as cute though!
What the?!? Dunno what type of emo hair is this! ahhaha It's very strange...when did he start wearing makeup?

Ok, I know a lot of girls don't play games or even own a console but I have to write about this game. Sorry if this is so not beauty related:) But I am enjoying this game so much I have to blog it! Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box- it's the second game in the series and more to come YAY! If you own a DS and you love puzzles- this is the game for you:) It's even better than the first game. And it definitely beats Sudoko anyday! I say- this is a great beauty routine...helps me sleep and relax so that means less wrinkles.....except when I frown whilst conentrating and attempting to solve puzzles. ahha

My fiance laughs at me tapping away on my DS like a mad woman! I was trying to find coins hidden on the screen. It's my only way to get hints for the puzzles! If you played this game please let me know and leave a comment so I don't sound like a weirdo getting high on my DS :P

Night Night! Going back to my gaming now :)

Tinted Moisturisers

I am tired of flaky skin! I think it's my diet- I haven't been drinking water or eating enough of my daily fruit and veges! Very bad of me! I have to get back on track or I'll look like a corpse on my wedding day!

I want to share my thoughts on these two tinted moisturisers-
Jemma Kidd Pro Finish Moisture Tint & Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturiser.

Top: Jemma Kidd Moisture Tint

Bottom: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser

I rarely use tinted moisturisers since my perception is that they don't give much cover and it's too oily for my shiny skin. Now, I think my skin is changing and it needs a bit more hydration. I bought the L.Mercier T.Moisturiser a long time ago but wasn't impressed with it at all! I thought it was way too sheer and didn't do anything for my skin. So I left it lying around....till now!

Jemma Kidd Moisture Tint
Firstly, Jemma Kidd Moisture Tint was a very impulse purchase- got talked into by the girl at Kit Cosmetics. I can't say no! It wasn't cheap either and I thought I'll just give it try because I saw it on Pixiwoo- turns out I got the wrong product by J. Kidd!
Anyway, this was not very good for me. It smells like sunscreen- which I hate! Plus, it made my skin super oily. I don't think it would last a whole day. So I am donating this to my sister who will probably use it when she's at the beach- she is such a beach bum nowadays! I envy her "sportiness"- I need to get a bit of her active routine to get in shape! okk....back to makeup.....

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser
Strangely, when I tried it a second time- I found that it's very easy to blend and goes on smooth. Gave my skin a dewy glow:) And it looked very natural! It's definitely my fave now! haha- It's so strange!? Anyway, I would add that it won't work if you are suffering from breakouts. In that case, it's a nightmare to use! Overall- I am loving it now for my everyday makeup:)

Here are some pics of my makeup today. Sorry it's so yellow! ahah I took it near a spotlight. I used Rimmel's Kohl Liner in Green Jungle. A very nice teal colour:) And I am using L.M Tinted Moisturiser with the Undercover pot to conceal my pimples (I hate that time of the month!) and finish it with a very light dusting of powder- I still want to get that dewy look. And it lasted all day! I am so happy:)
